This is my quest
On Sunday, I begin a fellowship studying science and religion at the University of Cambridge. Before I get started, I've stopped in Reykjavik, for a bit of R&R. Why Reykjavik? It was on the way, for starters. And then there's the midnight sun. I'm pro-sun. Day one was pretty drizzly, but what light there was did, indeed, last until about 1230a. As promised in the guidebooks and by anyone who's been here, it's crazy expensive. Other initial reactions: artistic and a bit dreary.
